Summer Parties part 1

So it’s dark when you wake up and dark when you get home each evening, the temperature has hardly got out of single digits for the last however many months, dry-January seems to be the longest month in the history of long months and the relentless rain and stories of flooding are starting to wear more than a little thin.  Sound familiar?  In which case, it’s time to turn your attention to thoughts of sunny days, long summer evenings, Pimms, strawberries and cream, barbecues and summer parties to help relieve the January blues!

And that’s exactly what we’re doing here at Grazing HQ this week.  We’ve already had our first summer party inquiries in (and a Christmas party already…now that’s planning ahead!) and we’ve been busy trawling London some for some cool outdoor spaces and creating fabulous menus from picnics to BBQs.  To whet your appetite for planning a summer bash, here’s a few of our fave venues for this summer:

The Lookout, Hyde Park

A hidden gem and super cool space in the middle of Hyde Park with beautiful grounds and indoor space just in case the good old British weather takes a turn for the worse.  Great for Garden Parties, Drinks Receptions, Summer Parties & BBQs.

The Design Museum, Shad Thames

With stunning views over Tower Bridge and the Thames, Gallery 1.5 and the balcony at the Design Museum (complete with retractable awning in case of rain!) are a stunning spot for a summer BBQ or drinks party and it’s only a hop and skip away from London Bridge so getting home afterwards needn't involve a trek across any field!

Roll on the summer….is it Pimms O’Clock yet?
